For one of our prestigious
multinational clients, we are looking for a VP Software Engineering, India. The company is headquartered in US and has
presence in Canada and India. India being a Product Delivery and Service
Delivery centre based in Bangalore. The company is a well known leading provider of enterprise software. Their products are based on
Microsoft platform.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As VP Engineering, you will oversee the
entire product development, quality assurance and professional services delivery
out of client’s India office. You will be primarily responsible to build and
manage a world class organization. This position is ultimately responsible for
high quality delivery of software products, professional services and shared
services to internal and external customers in North America. You will have
complete freedom to shape the entire India organization. We are looking for an
intelligent and passionate individual who is an entrepreneur at heart and
shares client’s values. This position directly reports to the CEO of works out
of US.
PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO FIND
OUT IF THIS DREAM JOB IS FOR YOU –
- Do you have experience in playing a leadership role at
both product and services organizations?
This is a must have requirement.
- Do you have 15 - 20 years of experience including 8+
years building and managing world class offshore teams and managing cost
centers with 100+ employees ?
- Do you have extensive experience in building and
managing Product Development / Service Delivery teams?
- Do you have solid understanding of industry-standard
SDLC, Agile and QA Methodologies?
- Do you have strong verbal, presentation and written
communication skills?
- Do you have experience working with cross-functional
teams
- Do you have bachelor’s degree in engineering from IIT
/ NIT / BITS ONLY?
(Additionally an MBA from IIM / ISB / XLRI
(or equivalent International University) is a plus though not mandatory.
