For one of our prestigious multinational clients, we are looking for a Senior QA Technical Lead - Software (P&C insurance) for an onsite position with their customer in New Jersey, USA. The  client is an established name in space of software development and consultancy in Insurance and Healthcare verticals.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Senior QA Technical Lead, you will oversee the customer’s QA offshore team,  manage the work assignments, interface with the customer to manage workload and do work estimations and project planning. This is very close to a managerial position but highly technical at the same time.

You will be required to interface with customer’s  business users for Requirement discussions and planning. You will manage a team of 9-12 people in multiple locations, interact with the US client, understand requirements, prepare Q&A for the client, perform work assignments, do task estimations, prepare project plan, teach freshers, manage team strengths and weaknesses, prepare backups and manage client’s work continuity and risks etc.

You will also be involved in architecting and designing/enhancing the ALM/UFT setup for the customer and guide/advise the customer in maximizing the use of ALM/UFT.

• Do you have relevant experience of 10+ years?
• Do you have P&C Insurance knowledge? (it is a high preference, but not a necessity)
• Do you have experience in using prevalent testing methodologies, using Agile as well as traditional approach, and using industry best practices?
• Do you have in-depth exposure to automated testing using HP ALM, UFT?
• Do you have excellent communication skills?
• Are you considered to be a hands-on person?
• Are you a US Citizen/Green Card Holder/Valid H1-B or L1 Holder?
  
• Are you based in or around New Jersey  or willing to relocate?
