For one of our prestigious multinational
clients, we are looking for a Sales Head (Software Service and Solutions) –
International Sales. This position is based at Chandigarh – India but covers
international sales in geographies including but not limited to US, UK,
Australia and Canada.

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role as Head of Sales, you will
be responsible for the development, delivery and
implementation of the
sales strategy and business plan through your team for international
geographies including but not limited to US, UK,
Australia and Canada. The Sales Head carries
out the following tasks to be successful in this role.
- Determine
annual unit and gross-profit plans by implementing marketing strategies; analyzing
trends and results.
- Establish
sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions
and territories; projecting expected sales volume and defining quarterly and annual sales plan.
- Maintain
sales volume, technology mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply
and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
- Establish
and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and
demand.
- Work
with Delivery organization to scope solutions.
- Present
solutions and win business.
- Participate
in contract discussions / negotiations.
- Manage
multiple client relationships.
- Identify
and scope growth opportunities within the relationship.
- Executive
reporting on Sales Operations - based on Sales cycle stage, pipeline, funnel,
win-loss and other parameters.
- Maintain
sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Maintain
sales staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning,
monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Maintain
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops;
reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;
participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by
accomplishing related results as needed.
- Advising
and consulting with senior management and business unit leaders on the
appropriate use of technology to drive business success.

- Do you have an engineering degree
preferably in Computer Science from a reputed institute?
- Do you have an MBA degree from a
reputed institute?
- Do you
have overall 10+ years experience in
management or comparable leadership experience in software sales with a
focus in strategic planning, development and global delivery?
- Do you have excellent English
language written and verbal skills?
- Do you have up-to-date with
latest trends and directions in software technologies?
- Do others look up to you as a
leader/mentor?
- Do you
have experience in building effective teams, developing direct reports,
and motivating them to drive for results are critical to success?
- Are you the one who is known for
beating his targets?
- Are you known for creating
RFPs/RFI and Sales Presentation with a WOW factor?
- What is your current location?
- If you are not based at Chandigarh,
are you willing to relocate?
