For one of our prestigious
multinational clients, we are looking for a Sales Head - Software Services. Our
client is US based – an established name in the space of software development
and consultancy in Insurance and Healthcare sectors. This position is based at New
York; however, the location can be flexible.

As a Sales Head, you will get to sell consulting
services with proven onsite/offshore model.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Sales Head you will carry end-to-end
responsibility to increase the Top Line revenues. If you do not have prior
experience in Insurance and Healthcare verticals, you will be expected to
pick-up these domains in a very short span and acquire enough understanding to
deal with C level executive in Insurance and Healthcare industries. You must
have the ability to understand the business requirements and IT needs of organizations
by interacting with C level executives and IT leaders at these organizations.
This is an IC role and you will be expected
to play “Hunter”.
Your
activities will include the following:
- Map
out the key players for potential new business initiatives and
determine/document appropriate sales strategy.
- Proactively
prospect, create opportunities & interact with top management level in the
desired Geography.
- Understanding
customers' specific IT/business pain points and applying solution knowledge to address
those pain points.
- Establish
productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer
accounts.
- Analyzing
customer needs in terms of current business pain points, identifying
opportunities and scoping potential
- Maintain
high customer CSAT Scores.
- Effectively
advise and influence the customers especially in addressing the business needs
and creation of an ROI framework.
- Gathering
market and customer information
- RFP/RFI
proposal development and customer reviews, issues handling, negotiations and
deal closure.
- Meeting
the sales targets of the organization through effective planning and budgeting.

- Do you have relevant experience
of 8 to 18 years including at least 8+ years in IT Software Services / Software
Products Sales?
(Background in Insurance and Healthcare verticals is highly desired though not
a showstopper for the right candidates)

- Are you known to make quick
decisions keeping in mind the customer’s as well as company’s interest?
- Are you a US Citizen / Green Card Holder?
