For one of our prestigious
multinational clients, we are looking for a QA Manager - Software in the
P&C insurance vertical of our client – an established name in the space of software
development and consultancy. This position based at Gurgaon – Delhi NCR, India.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a QA Manager you will be responsible for
managing and overseeing QA resources working on software projects in P&C
Insurance QA practice. This is a managerial position but highly technical at
the same time. Some of the key responsibilities are:
- Lead the effort of growing client’s
P&C Insurance QA Practice
- Senior QA Technical Lead for customer’s
QA offshore team.
- Manage the work assignments,
interface with the customers to manage workload and do work estimations and
project planning.
- Interface with customer’s business users for Requirement discussions and
planning
- Get involved architecting
and designing/enhancing the testing architecture and setup for the customer and
guide/advise the customer in maximizing the use of testing methodologies and
best practices.
- Handle multiple projects and
management tasks.
- Build and oversee a team of
10-50 people (at various levels) in multiple locations, interact with the US customers,
understand requirements, prepare Q&A for the customer, perform work
assignments, do task estimations, prepare project plan, teach freshers, manage
team strengths and weaknesses, prepare backups and manage customer’s work
continuity and risks etc.
- US travel will be needed.

- Do you have relevant experience
of 15+ years?
- Do you have P&C
Insurance knowledge? (it is a high preference, but not a necessity)
- Do you have experience
in using prevalent testing methodologies, using Agile as well as traditional
approach, and using industry best practices?
- Do you have
in-depth exposure to automated testing using HP ALM, UFT, Selenium, JMeter etc?
- Do you have excellent
communication skills?
- Are you considered to be a
hands-on person?
- Do you have industry standard
certifications of Six Sigma, and other relevant Software Testing
certifications?
- Are you open to US travel from
time to time?

Are you from Delhi NCR / Gurgaon or willing to
relocate?
