multinational clients, we are looking for career oriented Hadoop Principal
Architect. The client has locations in US and Gurgaon.
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Architecting Software Applications in Hadoop
environment
PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO FIND
OUT IF THIS DREAM JOB IS FOR YOU –
- Do you have 6 to 12 years experience
in Software Engineering?
- Do you have a solid base in CS or EE a must,
preferably with education from reputed college ( Masters degree a plus) ?
- Do you have core software engineering and design skills?
- Do you have a good grasp of algorithms,
data-structures, and problem solving?
- Do you total work experience of at least 6 years in
product design/development, with at least 3 year in core?
- Do you have Java development experience - at least
3 year experience working with Hadoop development, preferably as a contributor
to base?
- Do you have Distributed Computing experience?
- Do
you understand the concepts & algorithms inherent in distributed computing?
- Do
you have a passion for building massively scalable applications?
- Do
you understand different caching methodologies and their needs?
- Do
you understands the concepts related to distributed I/O and its challenges?
- Do you have Hadoop framework?
- Are
you comfortable with the Hadoop framework, and have hands-on development in
Hadoop internals?
- Do
you have strong knowledge of the Hadoop MapReduce API and its nuances?
- Do
you have knowledge of the HDFS architecture and API?
- Do
you have exposure to other projects under Hadoop viz. HBase / Pig etc?
- Do you have strong understanding of the Agile
methodologies?
- Do you have excellent
communication skills?
- Are you based at Gurgaon / Delhi NCR or willing to
relocate here?
