we are looking for a highly experienced Quality professional to fill in the
position of “Global Quality Lead”. The client is a well known and respected

Role
Description
As Global
Quality Lead; you will be responsible for leading from front, the Global
Quality teams covering Software and Hardware Quality processes. You will fine-tune
the processes on an ongoing basis, and motivate the global teams to go an extra
mile to innovate, and create quality systems leading to Zero Defect product
deliveries.
- Provide leadership
and strategic direction to ensure proper interface of the quality engineering
and regulatory Compliance functions to Development / Product Design teams –
Software as well as Hardware.
- Create vision
and strategic plan, including people development, and environment
conducive to innovation.
- Direct and lead the Quality Engineering
and Quality Control function.
- Work in
collaboration with Product Design, and Engineering to develop product
specifications, and validate that the products designed/developed conform to
specifications.
- Lead and
engage in new product introduction and release processes, by developing
Product Quality plans; facilitate design for quality; execute and report
on plans established, and ensure that products are at the highest level of
quality with Zero Defects.
- Establish
and fine-tune Risk Analysis and Risk Assessment processes.
- Establish
and report Quality KPIs such as estimated / actual Product Failure Rates,
cost of defects quality, product status and performance during development
and release phases.
- Manage international quality teams –
displaying lead-by-example styles
PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO FIND

- Do
you have a B-Tech/BE/MCA/M-Tech/MS Degree in Engineering from reputed
institutes (IITs/NITs or Institutes of equivalent repute)? (An MBA is desirable
though not a must)
- Do
you have 19-25 years experience in Software Quality? (In addition to Software
Quality, experience in Hardware Quality is desirable though not a must)
- Do
you have at least 4-5 years managerial experience in US?
- Do you experience in
development of Quality KPIs such as estimated / actual Product Failure Rates,
cost of defects quality etc. related to Product development and releases?
- Do
you have experience in carrying out effective Risk Analysis and Risk
Assessment?
- Do
you have proven track record of leadership?
- Have
you handled international quality teams?
- Do
you have experience in an onsite/offshore environment?
- Do
you have exposure to Agile / Scrum Methodologies?
- Do
you have excellent verbal and written communications skills?
- Are you based at Delhi or NCR
or willing to relocate?
