For one of our prestigious clients
dealing with Enterprise cloud products, we are looking for Head of Software
Engineering (Product Delivery). The position is based at
Chennai/Noida/Delhi/NCR
Role Description
Our client is looking
for a dynamic Product Engineering Head to lead a team of engineering designers to develop
technology solutions for client’s elite customers.
As Head of Software Engineering (Product
Delivery), you will be:
- Responsible for leading the Product
teams at company’s development centre at Chennai/Noida/Delhi.
- Responsible for smooth delivery of Product
releases, new initiatives, product innovation, managing stakeholders, and
making the teams perform at an optimal level.
- Responsible for design
development, sustaining product design, and cradle to grave lifecycle
ownership.
- Providing strategic direction for engineering
technical areas including: analysis and design for all aspects of current
product initiatives to all levels of the organization.
- Working directly with Product
Management and Presales to review opportunities and develop engineering cost analysis
based on product scopes.
- Responsible for encouraging continuous
improvement in Software Engineering capability and maturity on an ongoing basis.
- Participating and speaking in industry forums,
as needed

- Are you a B-Tech/BE/MCA/M-Tech/MS Degree in Engineering from
reputed institutes (IITs/NITs or Institutes of equivalent repute). (An MBA
is desirable though not a must)?
- Do you have overall experience of 15+ years in Software Engineering?
- Do you possess substantial experience in a Product Company
including at least 6 to 8 years in management, in addition to development
experience?
- Are you a self-starter with
strong leadership qualities?
- Do you have proven track record of effectively managing engineering
teams?
- Do you have experience in making strategic decisions for your
organization?
- Do you have experience in leading large .Net/C#/WPF/Java/C++ development
teams?
- Do you have hands on expertise in Agile / Scrum Methodologies?
- Do you have excellent oral and written communications skills?
