Position : Director – IT Competencies

Location : Pune
For one of our prestigious clients (with global customer locations in various countries), we are looking for a Director – Competencies with 17 to 28 years experience in various aspects of IT Consultancy. The client is a very well know name around the Globe. They are a very progressive company and believe in bringing differentiation through innovative techniques. Currently they need a Director – Competencies to be based at Pune.
PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO FIND OUT IF THIS DREAM JOB IS FOR YOU –
· Do you have 17 to 28 years IT experience?
· Have you led a Unit/Practice of 500+ persons?
· Are you an Employee oriented leader with great listening skills?
· Can you provide Thought Leadership to define vision to develop IPs, Competencies etc?
· Have you managed IT Software projects?
· Have you been part of COEs or managed COE initiatives?
· Are you aware of general technology and market trends in Indian Market?
· Do you have excellent presentation and communication skills?
· Are you either based at Pune or are willing to relocate to Pune?

Role
· Lead Competencies and Application Delivery Centers
· Manage all India application centre heads
· Manager all competency heads
· Draw out vision for developing IPs, Competencies etc.
· Inject innovation in teams
· Enhance value add to the services offered by the client
· The role does not require extensive travel, however, 2 to 4 days a month travel will be required
