For one of our prestigious multinational clients, we are looking for career oriented Business Specialists in Financial Services Domain with IT Consultancy background. The client is known as an IT Consulting leader in Financial Outsourcing Services, and they have top Global customers in the Financial sector. They have challenging projects, and are known to be a very progressive company. Their Indian development centers are at Noida and Bangalore. Currently they need Business Specialists for their centers at Noida and Bangalore.
JOB DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Business Specialist in Financial Services be responsible for:
· spearheading IT Consulting projects in the right direction
· providing expert knowledge (in your specialized domain ) to multiple IT consulting engagements
· Application Assessments, Business & IT processes Assessments, Cost/Benefit Analysis, Outsourcing strategy analysis, Benchmarking, Project management setup, Technology roadmap definition etc.
PLEASE ANSWER THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS TO FIND OUT IF THIS DREAM JOB IS FOR YOU –
· Do you have 10 to 18 years experience in Financial Services?
· Do you have experience in IT consulting or large IT projects?
· Are you an MBA from one of the IIMs or equally reputed B-Schools?
· Are you a Guru in one of the following Domain areas?
o Risk and Compliance covering the following
§ FRM
§ CFA – Level II (Min.)
§ Capital market risk management techniques
§ Value at Risk – VAR
§ Hedging techniques in derivatives (Interest rate derivative s, Credit derivatives)
§ US regulatory compliance
§ Regulatory reporting
§ KYC
o Fixed Income covering the following
§ Types of Bonds
§ Pricing of a bond (NPV, Yield curve, Discounted cash flows)
§ Rate derivatives – (vanilla vs. structured, collar)
§ Credit derivatives – (single name vs. multiple)
§ MBS
§ CDO vs. CMO
§ Life cycle of a FI derivative
o Equities covering the following
§ Cash equities vs. Derivatives
§ Listed vs. OTC
§ Futures & Options
§ Forwards
§ Algorithm trading
§ DMA
§ Crossing systems
§ Exchange connectivity
§ Clearing House vs. Custodian vs. Depository
· In addition to Domain expertise, do you good exposure to IT Delivery?
· Do you have experience in execution of 2 or more projects of the following type?
o Application Assessments
o Business & IT processes Assessments
o Cost/Benefit Analysis
o Outsourcing strategy analysis
o Benchmarking
o Project management setup
o Technology roadmap definition
· Do you have very strong Analytical and Communication skills?
· Do you have experience in handling RFPs/RFIs for IT Projects in Financial Services?
· Are you open to new ideas, flexible, and patient?
· Are you open to travel abroad ( a valid US Visa will be a nice to have)?
· Are you based at Noida/NCR Delhi/Bangalore or willing to relocate?
